Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of danebuilds.com and any website services provided by Dane Builds ("we", "us"). By submitting a request, paying a deposit, or using our services, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site or our services.

What we provide

Dane Builds designs, builds, and hosts one-page websites for small businesses. A project includes:

• A custom one-page website based on the style you select
• Setup of your content, photos, and contact details
• Connection of your domain name to the finished site

Demo previews

Preview pages are samples we prepare to show what a website could look like. They are not a finished product or an agreement.

• Previews may use publicly available business information, such as name, address, phone number, and hours
• Photos, text, and reviews on previews may be placeholders and are labeled as such
• Previews are not affiliated with or endorsed by the business shown unless that business becomes a client
• To have a preview removed, email dane@danebuilds.com and we will take it down

Pricing and payment

• Website build normal: $1000, one-time flat fee
• Website build special: $799, one-time flat fee
• Care plan: $49 per month, billed monthly
• A deposit of half of the total amount is due before work begins, and the balance is due when the finished site is delivered for approval and before it is published on your domain
• Submitting a style request does not obligate you to pay anything
• Prices are in US dollars and do not include domain registration fees

Timeline

We aim to deliver your site within 48 hours. The clock starts once we have received your deposit and all of the content we need from you, including text, photos, and domain details. Delays in receiving materials or feedback move the delivery date.

Scope and revisions

The build covers one page in the selected style using the sections included in that style. We keep the scope fixed so the price and timeline stay fixed.

• Two round(s) of revisions are included with the build
• Requests outside the original scope, such as additional pages, custom features, or online ordering, are quoted separately
• Work outside scope begins only after you approve the quote

Care plan

The care plan keeps your site online and up to date. It includes:

• Up to two small edits per month to text, photos, or hours
• Technical fixes if something on the site breaks

You can cancel at any time by emailing dane@danebuilds.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.

Your content and responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you give us and for your use of the finished site. You confirm that:

• You own or have permission to use all text, photos, logos, and other material you provide
• The information on your site, including prices, hours, and claims about your services, is accurate
• Your business complies with the laws that apply to it, including licensing and advertising rules
• You are responsible for the legal content on your site, such as your privacy policy and terms. Templates we provide are a convenience only and are not legal advice

Domains and accounts

• You own your domain name. If we register one on your behalf, we will transfer it to you on request
• You are responsible for domain renewal fees and for keeping your registrar account secure
• To connect your domain, you or your registrar must update DNS records that we provide
• We are not responsible for downtime caused by DNS changes made by you or your registrar

Ownership and licenses

• You own the content you provide and the final text and images published on your site
• We keep ownership of our code, templates, designs, and tools, and we grant you a license to use them as part of your site while you are a client
• Stock photos we supply are licensed for use on your site only and cannot be resold or reused elsewhere
• We may display your finished site as an example of our work unless you ask us not to

Third-party services

Your site relies on services run by other companies, such as hosting, image storage, email delivery, and maps. We choose them with care, but we do not control them and are not responsible for their outages or changes.

Cancellations and refunds

• Before work begins: If you cancel before we have begun building your site, we will refund your deposit in full.
• After work begins: If you cancel after we have begun building, the deposit is non-refundable and no balance is owed. Once the site is delivered, the build fee is non-refundable, and we will correct any errors or mismatches with the agreed scope as part of the included revisions.
• Care plan payments are not refunded for partial months

No guarantees

We build websites, and we do not control how customers find or respond to them. We do not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic, leads, or sales. Our services are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Dane Builds is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end our services if payments are overdue, if your content is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights, or if you breach these terms. We will give notice when we reasonably can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Alachua County, Florida.
